Is Revolution Beauty worth it? ›

It definitely is worth buying. I have the Sophdoesnails' collabs, the Conceal&Define concealer and the Fast Base stick foundation. It is my fave drugstore brand and I am totally trying more, especially some new stuff that comes in the Revolution Pro line.

Around 60% of our products are made in China, 25% in Taiwan, 15% in UK, Italy, France & Germany.

Enriched with niacinamide, it is oil free, shine free, creaseproof, lifeproof and smudgeproof whilst providing 16 hours wear time from day to night. Its super coverage with 20% more pigment makes it easy to build and blend the foundation depending on the coverage you desire.

While Ordinary lists glycolic acid first and specifies 2% of BHA acids, Revolution says it contains BHA. The Ordinary acid peel is stronger, with thicker formula, and a lot more effective. SPF protection is needed after one or the other.

Revolution Beauty is a UK-based beauty company that was founded in 2014 by Adam Minto and Tom Allsworth. It sells makeup, skincare and hair products. As of 2021, the brand has 220 employees and an annual turnover of $139 million.

While Mr Minto stepped down from his role in November 2022, along with co-founder Tom Allsworth, he retains a 15.34% stake in the skincare and make-up business, while fast fashion giant Boohoo is its biggest shareholder.

This foundation has been dermatologically tested and is clinically proven to be non-comodogenic, non-pore blocking, and is suitable for blemish prone skin.

The foundation is incredibly blurring and easy to blend. It's handily a non-comedogenic formula, so it won't clog your pores. Normally with 'serum' type foundations, I find them far too flimsy, but this truly perfects the skin without looking cakey. It's the perfect middle ground between matte and glowy.
